INTERNATIONAL MIGRATION DAY

International Migrants Day 2019 was celebrated in Delhi with the participation of Ambassadors of Afghanistan, Bosnia Herzegovina, Panama, Maldives, Palestine and Morocco.

AFGHANISTAN

AACC delegation met His Excellency Tahir Qadiri, the Charge d'Affaires for Afghanistan in India to discuss the delegation of Indian businessmen to Afghanistan.

MEETING WITH MINISTER OF STATE OF EXTERNAL AFFAIRS

AACC delegation met Mr.VK Singh, the Minister of State for External Affaris, Govt of India to discuss strengthening of bilateral relations with the Asian Arab region.

ANDHRA PRADESH

AACC delegation met Mr YS Jagan Mohan Reddy for initiating partnerships for investments into the state from the Arab region especially Saudi Arabia and Kuwait where a large NRI population is based from the state.

SULTANATE OF OMAN

AACC delegation visited Muscat with a 32 member delegation to cement partnerships in MSME sector and develop India business park in the capital city of Muscat. Delegation was hosted by Ministry of Industry.

Oman’s Public Establishment for Industrial Estates (Madayn) organised the Oman-India Investment Meet event on 29 September 2019 at Crowne Plaza Muscat under the auspices of HE Yahya bin Said Al Jabri, Chairman of the Special Economic Zone Authority at Duqm (Sezad) and Chairman of Ithraa, inviting 35 Indian businessmen to invest in projects by Oman’s Rusayl Industrial Estate Authority, Shumookh Investment and Services, and Sezad, among others. Delegation of the Asian Arab Chamber of Commerce visited the various companies and Special economic zones and have signed MOU’s for trade impetus.
